The only zombie thing I talk about this week — other than the limited-edition “Midnite Mausoleum Presents The Italian Zombie Movie Part 1&2 – Summer Camp Special DVD” on sale this weekend at Horrorhound Cincinnati — is the second episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead. Spooky Bill also left a voicemail of death about the show.
Since I seemed to have misplaced Invisible Invaders (1959), I instead talk about Bride of the Gorilla (1951). If you have Netflix, I strongly urge you to watch the classic Un Chien Andalou (1929).
This week I play another version of “Watershed.”

Not to come off as a huge nerd, but if the chick who left the voice mail is reading (Rita?); no, the punk girl from Dolls isn’t Trash from RotLD. That would be Linnea Quigley, who an awesome woman and an icon in the realm of zombie/slasher horror.
Anyway, I’m chiming in because I listened to Drunken Zomkbie’s post-Film Fest show and they mention Chemical 12D, one of their zombie related entries. It’s a short and I think a lot of MC fans might dig it. Here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7_ujhPYwSM
I have no affiliation with Drunken Zombie or the Chem 12D folks, but feel free to delete if this comes off as spammy. Just trying to push a little talent and effort in front of people who might appreciate it as all.
Great show, yet again, man. I gotta say, I think I like Watershed V2 overall.
Thanks Victor!
When Zombie Freda asked about the punk girl in ROTLD, I was thinking about the other girl, not Trash, the one with the brown hair. I guess I could go on IMDB if I weren’t so lazy.
Drunken Zombie is great — feel free to spam about them all you want 🙂
are you thinking of jewel sheppard? i dont think she was. she played casey in ROTLD. but she was not in dolls. must be that awsome 80’s hair! i agree with victor watershed v2 was great! damn i love this podcast. 🙂
Oh, that girl. Jewel. Sorry, when I think of the girl from RotLD I think of Quigley. I was a kid when I first saw it and, well, let’s just say that between Tarman and the Trash graveyard dance, I’ll forever be a fan of both Quigley and zombies.
Say, is it just me or did the last song from the last scene of The Walking Dead ep. 3 remind anybody else of 28 Days Later’s “In a Heartbeat”? Maybe I’m just hearing shit.
