For the first part of the show this week, I ramble on and on about Cinema Wasteland this past weekend, and about the Eerie Horror Film Festival this weekend. However, I eventually get around to talking about Womaneater (1957), Bloodsuckers from Outer Space (1984) (with Eric AKA @bguglyhryscry),Lake Mungo (2007), and the sweet CD from Buzz Works, Zombie Influx.
As I get ready to head off to Horror Realm for the weekend, I bring you another astounding podcast.
I talk about the unofficial sequel to I Walked with a Zombie(1943) — Zombies on Broadway (1945). Also, I give a Netflix Instant Watch recommendation: the movie Mom (1991).
The only movie I talk about this week is I Walked With a Zombie (1943). But there’s a ton of other stuff going on — the Review of Beers from Brian in Colorado, voicemails, strange things, and an original song called “Flyin.”
I also talk about these highly interesting zombie things:
Joining me this week is author and reviewer of beers, Brian Kaufman (AKA Brian in Colorado)! We have a great discussion about his book Dead Beyond the Fence, movies, music, and lots more. Get his book! Brian also provides us with this week’s Review of Beers.
This week, we stop in the year 1943 to look at Revenge of the Zombies, the “sequel” to King of the Zombies (1941). I also review the newly-released movie Meat Grinder (2009).
Brian in Colorado tells us about a beer named after a river, and Spooky Bill phones in his thoughts on the Voicemail of Death.
For original music, I cover the Marty Robbins song “El Paso.”
The only movie I talk about this week is King of the Zombies (1941). Brian in Colorado gives us a second-hand review of beers, and we get to hear some Voicemails of Death. The original music is called “Bass.”
This week, I’m joined by author Robert R. Best, and we get to talk all about his new book Ashton Memorial. Be sure to check it out!
Brian in Colorado brings us a wonderful tale of beer discovery in this week’s Review of Beers.
Just a reminder: if you were one of the winners of the Eric S. Brown and David Dunwoody Zombie Flash Fiction Contest, please send me your address! You’re holding everyone up.
