great episode man! my 2 yr old loved “what am i gonna do now”? he was thrashin’ all over the living room. great tune man. spot on in the reviews this week, i had the same prob. with the ghoul. i had 2 find a diff. copy but just to give you a headsup there are alot of plot holes in the film itself but it was a fun movie anyway! also congrats to the winners of the zombie flash fiction contest, very cool stories!

corey, im shocked at how many people have never seen this film. its groundbreaking to say the least and i would go as far to say its one of the best zombie films ever made. white zombie paved the way for my favorite type of horror films. the zombie. those dead eye stares still creep me out! its funny you mentioned seeing it on the big screen, last year i called my local drive-in theatre is see if their was any chance of them doing a halloween night by showing “white zombie” and “night of the living dead” as a twin bill. i was told the films were way to expensive! i told her she must be getting avatar and twilight for pennies on the dollar. what a joke. anyway i dug the thunderkissin’ tune it has a nostalgic effect and feel to it. great show as always bro, i’ll be talkin’ to ya.

Jack Ketchum is an angry, angry man. Or maybe not…it could be he just likes viscera. Off Season was a pretty good read….Offspring was the equivalent of the first ten minutes of any given Friday the 13th movie, where they rehash the sequels. It just kept on recapping Off Season. I wasn’t really a fan of the movie. Didn’t hate it, but didn’t think it was bringing anything to the table.

Love the episode, man. Great rant/riff about what is and isn’t a zombie! Great Offspring review as well…I might have to check this out. I just wonder what you really think about Michigan tax payers subsidizing horror films.

Anyway, keep up the good work. I fast forwarded through the music just because I’m hung over and it’ll be a few hours before the concept of music is appealing again. great episode man! i dug the new music you played, it reminds me of old school ministry. also im waiting to see if the “horror rock” genre gets an opening into the world of music. diemonsterdie sounds good and it seems more bands like that are starting to get a break. back in the day, the main choice i had were bands like the misfits, samhain, and of course the cramps. as for doghouse zombies or not i still love this movie, maximum gore good acting, and a good story. great review! keep up the great show! im enjoying the more wide open topics and you should keep up the album reviews! great job as always bro!

Oh man, another great show. I dug that song from Boy Eats Gurl so I think I’m gonna buy the CD that’s up on Amazon. But dude, I fucking loved Your Face! Is there anywhere I can download that? I saw Cypress Hill at the 9:30 club years ago-tiny( but great) venue. Cypress HIll hotboxed the whole room from opening act to finale. They then got so high they ended up playing an 8 hour show. Cool Guys. Got an autographed drum stick.

Can you review Massacre at Central High? It’s like an extended serious version of Heathers. I thought it had a real Russ Meyer feel to it, and then when I read about it I found out the director was a protege of him. I thought it was actually pretty good-I watched that and Rolling Thunder( !!) today while my bathroom is being remodeled. The reason I ask is because when I think 70s teenage revenge films, I think Midnight Corey.

Did the crowd smell of patchouli? I saw the Dead, and it seemed the entire crowd was really big on letting you know that patchouli is a great alternative to deoderant. This years Motorhead concert on the other hand, smells like a great combination of woodshop, auto shop, and everything inbetween. Weird Al smelled like a pizza party with banana splits for desert!

Let me just say that I am so so happy that you are podcasting again, I have a internship this summer so I get paid $14 a hour to stare at the floor for hours on end while hiding in the storage area. Your podcasts really helped make time not go by backwards like it usually does. But when I noticed that there was an episode with “Final” in the title I quickly listened to it in hopes it wasn’t your final episode, but was instead a final test or something. I was sad to learn it was the final episode. Then you started podcasting again, and while I am still catching up on all your previous podcasts, I await your new episodes. So thank you for sticking it to all the haters, even though I am amazed some would exist, and starting up podcasting again. I’ve even gotten my best friend to subscribe, so please continue doing whatever you want. Thank you again.

Your political rant worried me. The present administration (a direct offshoot of the past administration) has characterized “terrorists” as people who are angry at government and don’t recognize the benevolent parentage of our leaders. If you support Ron Paul or have a supply of coal oil in your bunker, you could be dangerous. Here’s my solution: watch more football. Football, football will put you to sleep…wait! This whole Ben R. thing ruined that! Damn it! Where are my opiates?

Sigh. Great show. I like the original music aspect. I’m a big Indy fan (particularly screamo – who the hell knows why?) so hearing a show with original tunes that also reviews small-budget horror films and talks (kindly) about other podcasts is so very perfect for my present frame of mind.

I tried multi-tracking once. I did a version of “My Generation” – vocals nothing but frustrated stutters and groans (aided by the fact that I can’t sing a lick). Used a drum machine (because I can’t drum a lick either). The six-second guitar solo rocked, though. My ex-wife threw out the recording while “cleaning up” (got the old high school baseball jersey, too), so no one will ever know just how great I was. Believe it.

I look forward to hearing your take on “White Zombie.” Bound to be interesting.

Finally, I like your all-Corey format. It should be a satellite radio station. Move over, Stern.

1st off, it does’nt matter if you “belong” in podcasting, you are where you are. fortunatly everyone wants you here, myself included. 2nd. laddy gag gag = ?, why cant blood come from her throat??!! phish not a huge fan but i do enjoy the music. i have to agree with the movie review, im a sucker for cheese films as i like to call them. also i must have watched your video at least 6 times, i think its such a cool way to pay homage to one of the greats! to drive in PA you may have to take out a 2nd. mortgage on your home. not to mention the folks that work there are getting paid for the 2 hrs. u are there, your not. BUT, you know as well as I do there is always some “ass-clown” who didnt take the time to call b4 to find out what he-or she needs to bring to the dmv (draining my vitals)!!!! voicemails, spooky-bill is always worth a laugh or 2 and by far one of the most intellegent listeners around (McPierce) has my #1 spot. and its always good to hear from GraciesPoppy just a all round cool guy. as for me, cinema wasteland-

Great to see you’re back. I became a fan only a few months before the drama went down, so I was bummed to see you go. But I’m digging the new podcast and hopefully you’ll share some more of your music. I’m digging that too.
