We received 58 entries for the Eric S. Brown and David Dunwoody Zombie Flash Fiction Contest! Thanks to everyone who entered. Our judges are evaluating the entries as we speak.

I review the movie Vampire, just released in the UK by Stax Entertainment. Also, I go way back to the very beginnings of zombie cinema and talk about White Zombie(1932). Brian in Colorado gives us this week’s Review of Beers, and my original music is a cover of a White Zombie song. Voicemails of Death also abound.

Articles I talk about:

Other music: Bare Wires

  2. Thanks! It’s a real classic. I hope someday I can see it on the big screen — that would rock.

corey, im shocked at how many people have never seen this film. its groundbreaking to say the least and i would go as far to say its one of the best zombie films ever made. white zombie paved the way for my favorite type of horror films. the zombie. those dead eye stares still creep me out! its funny you mentioned seeing it on the big screen, last year i called my local drive-in theatre is see if their was any chance of them doing a halloween night by showing “white zombie” and “night of the living dead” as a twin bill. i was told the films were way to expensive! i told her she must be getting avatar and twilight for pennies on the dollar. what a joke. anyway i dug the thunderkissin’ tune it has a nostalgic effect and feel to it. great show as always bro, i’ll be talkin’ to ya.
